Well, here we are at Top Gear Fishing Charters, the fish are back, Spanish Mackerel finally turning up in numbers, Spotties and Tuna, bottom fishing has improved out of sight after a slow start when the weather came good after our last two Cyclones.
Trouble is guys, we can’t take you fishing, always the way isn’t. I am sure most of you are aware of the no group policy by now, I couldn’t think of anything better than going out Fishing for a few hours to take your mind off the woes of the world.
Please share a thought for us, we have big investments sitting there with no return. We still pay high fees for mooring in the Marina, Insurance, Upkeep, can’t leave them sitting, they fall apart, Crew, they don’t earn that much to start with and we still have to try and keep our Families alive with no income.
I know a lot of you are in the same situation and my heart go’s out to you. What can we do, heads down, ride it out and see you when it gets better. All the best and hope to see you soon. Capt Brian
