Here at Top Gear Fishing Charters, we are excited, the Pelagics, aka, Mackerel, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Marlin are back, finally we have that deep Marlin Blue water back, this is a direct result of continuing Southerly winds bringing in that nutrient rich warm water.
We have been hooking up with great fish from 20 to 70 mts, or from 15 minutes to 1 hour from the breakwater, in other words they are turning up all over the place. These are the top fighting, top eating species we look forward to all year, after lots of rain and bad weather we seem to be on a roll. On board our boat we still clean and bag your fish caught on the bottom rigs, on the Lures and floating rigs, you get the fun and excitement of reeling them in but we then share all the big fish out so everyone gets some of these exceptional table fish to take home.
